  Absolutely appalled with the way my mother was treated by this care home, we experienced many issues with her care, after taking my mother out of this horrendous place she sadly died a few days later. The manager Shirley was awful to deal with, will lie to your face, try and push blame onto the family, even raised safeguarding concerns against us as family - what a joke that was! My mother was neglected, not fed properly, they lied about medication, not even giving my mother her special supplement drinks saying they had run out, but when we left we were given them all back as part of her property with the original date stamp labels on - they had them all along. My mother's GP and district nursing team were very concerned about the condition my mother was in after returning home from this place. Many items of my mothers personal possessions, clothing went missing. They have still not been returned as apparently they cant find them. I raised my concerns with the area manager but the response has been unsatisfactory. My advice - if your looking for a decent care home- avoid this one at all costs!
